Cloud Technology Partners LLC is a Florida-incorporated Corp-to-Corp consulting network that connects enterprise and regulated-industry clients with senior cloud, security, and platform-engineering specialists.
Why We Built This
Cloud staffing is broken in a specific way: the people who know the work get filtered out by staffing firms that optimize for margin, not match quality. Enterprises end up interviewing stacks of résumés from candidates who've never touched the technology on the job description. Consultants spend months hunting for opportunities through agencies that take a 40–50% cut and then disappear.
Rob and Jose built CTP after years on the delivery side — watching engagements fail because the "senior" consultant on the statement of work had never actually done the thing they were hired to do. The fix isn't more résumés. It's a smaller, verified network where every person has been vetted against what they actually claim to know.
Everything is Corp-to-Corp. Consultants maintain their own business entities, carry their own insurance, and work directly with clients. We handle sourcing, vetting, and facilitation — and we keep our margin transparent.

Rob spent over a decade in cloud infrastructure and platform engineering, working with enterprise clients across regulated industries including federal, healthcare, and financial services. He's seen both sides of the staffing equation — as a practitioner being sourced, and as a client doing the sourcing — and built CTP to fix what he kept running into on both.

What We Believe
The center of our business is a small number of beliefs that show up in every decision we make about how to source, vet, place, and pay consultants. They are not particularly novel, but they are not universal in cloud staffing either — and they are the reason CTP exists as a separate thing rather than as a job at one of the firms we used to deal with.
- Senior practitioners are the product. The reason a client pays CTP's rate is the person on the other end of the engagement. Everything else we do — sales, scoping, paperwork, QA — exists to make that person's work possible, not to substitute for it.
- Smaller is better than bigger. Growing the network without preserving the vetting bar would dilute the brand within a year. We will turn down work before we will turn down our standards.
- Transparency beats persuasion. Clients and consultants make better decisions when they see real numbers. We share the margin both ways and we do not negotiate against the consultant after the client has signed.
- Honest about scope. Saying "we are not the right fit" or "this should not be CTP" early is more valuable than landing the engagement and underdelivering. Referral is a feature, not a failure.
- Documentation is part of the work. Every engagement leaves a written artifact your team can read, extend, and onboard new people against — not a slide deck and a thank-you email.
How We Work
Owner-operated, no outside capital
CTP is privately held by its founders. There is no VC clock pushing us to grow the network past where the vetting can keep up, and there is no board pressure to extract higher margin at the consultant's expense.
Distributed, US-based
Florida-incorporated, with consultants and operations across the US. No physical office; we work where the engagement is and meet clients and consultants where they are.
Selective on engagements
We take on engagements where the work is technical, the scope is honest, and the consultant we have in mind is genuinely a fit. We pass on the rest. The referral network we have built is part of the model.
Communication is the rhythm
Weekly check-ins on active engagements, written status, named escalation paths. Not because process is the point — because friction at the seams is where engagements quietly start to go sideways.
How We Operate

Every consultant is vetted for technical depth, not just years of experience. Résumés lie; work history and structured review don't.
Transparent on margin
We tell clients what we charge and what the consultant earns. No hidden markups, no bait-and-switch rates.
Corp-to-Corp, not W-2
Independent consultants run their own businesses. We don't convert them to employees or lock them into non-competes.
No offshore substitution
The person you vet is the person who shows up. We don't staff bait-and-switch or substitute resources after engagement start.
Quality over volume
We'd rather place one strong match than send five résumés. Small, curated, and responsive is the point.
